Bethanie Ayerst

Senior Research Manager, BSc, MSc, PhD

Beth started at CHR in 2016, initially joining the competitive intelligence team (Solici). While there, she gained experience in managing a broad spectrum of projects, including competitor landscape monitoring, conference coverage, opportunity assessments and war-gaming. Interested in widening her skills, in 2019 she switched to the market research arm of the company (Vox.Bio). Here, she has gained experience with a range of methodologies to support clients to develop, commercialise and defend their brands. She is particularly passionate about advanced quantitative research and enjoys digging into the numbers to identify unexpected, strategically relevant insights. Critical data analysis and informing on strategic recommendations are her forte! She has also had the opportunity to work across a range of therapeutic areas spanning both pharma and med-tech, including immunology, nephrology and rare diseases.

Prior to joining the company, Beth completed her PhD in cartilage tissue engineering, split between the University of Manchester and the A*STAR Institute in Singapore.

Outside work, Beth enjoys watching live comedy, being a starfish in the sea, and exploring as many new places as possible – preferably on a bike!
