The Problem

Our client wanted to grow their presence within the respiratory home care market by developing innovative solutions. They wanted to address the unmet needs in Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) & asthma, evaluating the gaps within current product offerings.

The Solution

Through a multi-phase approach we iteratively shaped concepts to unlock robust decision making. This consisted of:

  • Secondary Research: Thorough secondary review of the market landscape
  • Qualitative Research: An online community with patients and HCPs
  • Quantitative Research: Concept testing with patients and HCPs to identify a winning solution
  • Consulting: A 3-day cross-functional ideation workshop to generate solutions

The Impact

Our research enabled the client to prioritise and focus resources on concepts / solutions with a reduced business risk.

Cross-functional workshops and patient testimonies engaged board members and encouraged collaboration between business units and regions.

The project was well-received throughout the client team, being featured in an internal newsletter and winning an award.
