For Vox.Bio’s Summer Social event this year we headed out into (a very hot and sunny) Cambridge for a food and drink tour.
With offices in Cambridge and London our social event was a great opportunity to get the whole UK-based team together, especially as just last month we welcomed some new team members to the London office.
On Friday 3rd August the team was taken on a food and drink tour of a very sunny Cambridge. As well as some great gin, the team tried Mexican specialties at the market, slow-cooked open Sandwiches at Meat and Bread and North African mezze at Bedouin. The food tour finished with a stop-off at Fitzbillies for one of their famous Chelsea buns.
We have a multi-cultural team based in UK, with colleagues from Europe, Central and South America and Asia. During the event, we looked to different team members for some local insight into the foods we tried throughout the day.
We finished the day with gin tasting and then drinks next to the River Cam watching the punts go past.
