BHBIA Conference 2019

On 13th and 14th May 2019 BHBIA members descended on a hotel in Windsor for the annual conference.

It was another great BHBIA conference this year and our first exhibiting at the agency fair. The event kicked off with a hugely inspiring and motivational keynote from Anthony Bennett who survived a life threatening viral infection as a child and went on to raise £7.5 million for Great Ormond Street Hospital before carving out a career as a speaker. It was a fantastic reminder to listen to our internal dreamer rather than the voice telling you that you can’t do something.

We also attended some great talks from our industry peers on everything from the use of AI, what we can learn from consumer multi-channel engagement, creating patient centric materials and improving research design to encourage participation.

As a first time exhibitor, the highlight for us was the engaging conversations we had with both pharma and agency delegates about the benefits of supporting primary market research with a robust understanding of the dynamics within a therapeutic area. Vox.Bio’s approach uses deep clinical and competitor landscape analysis to support the design of our research through for example taking expected competitor events into consideration when scheduling fieldwork. Crucially we continue to monitor our client’s landscape throughout the project ensuring that the insights and implications are commercially relevant and integrate learnings from the evolving therapeutic/treatment area.

We would love to show you how we would apply our approach to support you and your brand team, please get in contact with our Research Director Lucy Snowdon: lucy.snowdon@vox.bio
